Hillsborough Academy of Math and Science Hillsborough is a tuition-free public charter school serving the greater Tampa community for students in Kindergarten through Middle School and offers students an innovative research-based curriculum with an emphasis on excellence in math and science.

At Hillsborough Academy of Math and Science, we educate our students through innovative curriculum and engaging coursework. We spark curiosity and our students ask questions. We collaborate on real issues and our students see the world from a new perspective.
STUDENTS
Student life at Hillsborough Academy of Math and Science is more than curriculum. We encourage coursework to include extracurricular activities from athletic programs to art club and National Junior Honor Society. HAMS students have the opportunity to excel in many facets.

ATHLETICS
HAMS Athletics is an extension of our classrooms where dynamic growth transpires. It is where our students continue to learn about hard work and dedication to a goal; sacrificing for a team; competing to bring out the best in yourself and your opponent and winning and losing with humility.
EDVENTURE
Hillsborough Academy of Math & Science students want an "Edventure". Yes, we offer dedicated homework time but so much more including weekly themed programming with a variety of STEAM-focused centers, and skillastic activities.

Hillsborough Academy of Math & Science recognizes that all children are unique; that each learns in a different style and at a different pace. We strive to meet the individual needs of every student through a variety of programs and differentiated instructional techniques designed to prepare the child for success.
